about me

To be where I am today-to view my photography as more than just a hobby-I count it as complete joy. I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to do something that makes me come alive. I enjoy every aspect of documentation through photography. From meeting a client, to setting up a plan for the shoot, to the actual shooting, to the post processing, and (my most favorite) to the delivery of the photos.

I love people. I love people and forming relationships with them. In fact, I hope you’ll quickly see that I value relationships with my clients as much as I value the final product. It’s exciting to learn what makes my clients unique and to find a way to show that through my photos.  I’m a lover of natural light and natural settings…in the comfort of your home, in your shop,  or an open field of space.  Most importantly, I very much want to capture people in the midst of where they are.  I want to help my clients remember the phase of life in which the pictures were taken, not just day or the session itself.  That’s why I love the little details so much–tiny baby fingers and toes, laughter, play, hard work, and moments when no one seems to be watching.  I hope my photos allow my clients to see details they wouldn’t have otherwise noticed.

I’m a wife and a mama to three boys.  I know what it’s like to want to capture those special (and sometimes busy!) moments that you share with your family.

And I’m also a business owner.  I know what it’s like to be working hard to run your business because it means doing what you love.  I’m always eager to connect with other shops and businesses to help bring attention to their product and brand.

I am so thankful to be able to do something that I adore.  And I’m extremely humbled to take part in contributing to something greater than myself.

Contact me so we can discuss your hopes and desires for your next shoot. I’d be honored to work with you and I’d love to get to know you!

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive. -Howard Thurman
